Since 98 I have been trusted by some of the most innovative brands in the world with my experiences spanning from Enterprise to Agency work. I have been trusted to lead and design projects for Desktop, Tablet, Mobile, TV, Wearables across industries such as health care, automotive, consumer products, education, entertainment, retail, social impact, telecommunications, travel, technology and government.
Currently I'm leading venture teams flexing my skills across Research, Strategy, Design and Engineering at BCG Digital Ventures a corporate investment and incubation firm. We invent, build and invest in startups with the world’s most influential companies.
Previously ( 2017-2012 ) I worked for CrownPeak an enterprise technology company and lead our team to acquisition for our award winning SaaS products. My role was to envision and create a new vision for our product suites. I accomplished these tasks through organizing our teams, researching the market, testing our hypothesis and enabling design and development processes.
Some of the products I worked on include a Digital Experience Platform, Content Manager, Optimization and Personalization Manager, Brand Style Guide, Component System, Template builders and Product Demo Experiences.
Before that ( 2012-2006 ) I owned byProcess my own digital agency which enabled me to wear many hats across all cohorts. This enabled me to truly understand client needs, relationships, team organization responsibilities, ideation and vision, product manager, and engineering while running a business. More on LinkedIn
I live and love design. I am blessed with the gift of creativity and the confidence to direct and create experiences. Everything I see I consider the thought behind it and if there is room for improvement. I believe deeply in processes and ways design and development can build better software together.
I've made it my life's work to help market and expand businesses through intelligent design and user experiences, whether they're starting from the ground up or taking a new direction. I take the latest in technology and digital resources and deliver a vision for each of my clients' needs. With over 15+ years in the creative industry, and the second half in leadership and execution of digital product design, I am currently focusing my efforts on reconstructing our planets most desired user experiences.
My experience and knowledge have evolved past the traditional software designer role. I believe with modern day software changing at such a rapid pace traditional software designers must be able to wear multiple hats, solve complex problems and continually adapt to the ever changing landscape. Some call me a multi-tool, the industries definition is a unicorn or full-stack creative, but I believe I'm driven by products and experiences that enable humanity.
I was born and raised just south of Washington, D.C. by my talented parents. Since I can remember art and creativity have been a part of my life. My parents set the foundation of who I am with structure, creativity and focus. My mother has always inspired me with her amazing artwork while my father continues to inspire me with his music and books.
My artwork does not fit into a traditional style but represents a modern artists approach to mixing mediums (canvas, large scale murals, graffiti art, neon and light installations). I like the flexibility of using the best medium to accomplish the task at hand such as painting, craft making, or simply mixing mediums with technology to create immersive installations.
I have shown artwork and created installations for galleries across the U.S in cities such as Washington, D.C., New York, Philadelphia, Ohio, San Francisco and Berlin. I currently reside in California and focus on combining art with technology to create rich interactive installations focused on 80’s-style experiences.
